History:
- The original Lady was white, with a mix of creme de menthe and Curacao. In 1929, Harry MacElhone replaced the mint with gin and created a very popular cocktail. (source unknown)
Instructions:
- To make a Blue Lady, shake the gin, lemon juice and curacao (blue) with ice. As an added touch, we recommend adding sugar to the rim of the glass. Strain into a cocktail glass and serve. Some folks chose to add egg white (optional).
Ingredients:
- 2 cl (0.59 oz) Gin
- 1 cl (0.3 oz) Curaçao, blue
- 2 cl (0.59 oz) Lemon Juice
